The New Balance 998 Returns for the Fall 2024 Made In USA Collection

The New Balance 998 is making a triumphant return to the Teddy Santis-designed Made In USA Collection for the Fall 24 season, with two distinct colorways set to release before year's end.

As we close out 2024, these vintage-inspired iterations of the beloved silhouette are set to release in “Incense” and “Chrome Blue”, offering a nod to the retro aesthetic while maintaining the quality craftsmanship that New Balance is known for.

The “Incense” version features smooth fabric in place of the typical pebbled leather on the tongue, exposed foam, and a throwback New Balance 998 tag that brings a vintage vibe to the design. The shoe features light blue lining, yellow accents at the heel and toe box, and premium tan nubuck overlays on the quarter and toe area. This unique blend of materials and colors gives the 998 a refined and nostalgic feel, ideal for those who appreciate a classic runner.

Meanwhile, the blue pair brings in similar retro cues, with navy suede overlays and silver midfoot N motifs, providing an even more contemporary edge. The standout feature here is the addition of baby blue on the collar, lining, and tongue, offering a striking contrast that keeps the shoe looking fresh and modern despite its vintage influence. The midsole follows the same heritage-inspired aesthetic, perfectly complementing the overall design.
