Thee “Black Cat” theme continues its journey through the Boston brand’s catalog. Next in line is the New Balance 1000, which joins a 991v2 and a 9060 in this stealthy series slated for Spring 2025.

The "Black Cat" moniker evokes a familiar aesthetic, with the New Balance 1000 draped almost entirely in jet black. A dark grey midsole and “N” logo provide subtle tonal contrast, while reflective white branding on the tongue adds a touch of visibility. Unlike prior iterations, this release features a full suede upper, a departure from the usual mixed-material approach. This design choice mirrors the premium treatment seen in the KITH collaboration from October 2024, giving the shoe an elevated edge.

The New Balance 1000 “Black Cat” is set to hit shelves this Spring with a retail price of $150.
