WTAPS Brings "Olive Drab" to the New Balance ABZORB 2010
The New Balance 2010 launched in mid-May with the help of Ronnie Fieg's Kith. Since then, the heritage-inspired model has quietly amassed a handful of styles, with its most niche look to date arriving courtesy of WTAPS.
No stranger to N-branded footwear, the Japanese institution (pronounced "double taps") employs military-appropriate green for its latest project. An "Olive Drab/White" color scheme divvies up real estate across the model, which references beloved Made in USA New Balances from the past. The running-informed cues aren't isolated to the upper; ABZORB cushioning and stability systems come together underfoot to deliver a comfortable, reliable ride wherever the pair is laced.
Co-branding elements land on the lateral heel and footbed, with more details likely appearing on packaging.
Enjoy official photos of the WTAPS x NB 2010 ahead. Pairs are expected to begin rolling out via the label's channels on Friday, Oct. 10; a limited NewBalance.com drop could take place at a later date.
