In the dynamic world of skateboarding and sneaker culture, Alexis Sablone, a CONS Skate signature athlete, continues to make significant strides. Recently, Sablone has expanded her influence beyond her distinctive skateboarding style to design the Nike SB federation kits for the United States and Japan, as well as a global kit that symbolizes the inclusive spirit of skateboarding. These designs were created for athletes participating in international competitions and feature over a dozen apparel pieces alongside two limited-edition skateboarding shoes.
One of these exclusive footwear styles includes Sablone's latest collaboration with Nike SB on the Dunk Low. This sneaker showcases her keen eye for aesthetic detail, featuring a cobblestone-textured suede upper in olive green with fuchsia pink accents and a premium white leather base. The muslin-tinted midsole and dark green outsole complete this unique design. Additionally, the collaboration extends to the Converse CONS AS-1 signature shoe, presented in white and pink, hinting at a potential release as part of a collaborative pack.
Furthermore, the exterior of the Nike SB Dunk Low may reveal the fuchsia layer beneath as it wears over time, adding an element of personalization and transformation to the wearer’s experience. Sablone's design expertise is also evident in the federation kits, where she infuses skateboarding culture into classic workwear pieces, allowing athletes to express their personal style through a variety of options.
The federation apparel will be available on July 18, while the footwear, including the Converse CONS AS-1 Pro and the Nike SB Dunk Low, will be available as a twin pack on August 22 and individually on August 29 through SNKRS, converse.com, and select skate shops per Nike News Room.
This collaboration not only underscores Sablone’s multifaceted talents but also celebrates the creative and inclusive nature of skateboarding.
