It's no secret that many of the world's biggest sportswear brands are getting ready for Halloween 2026 with thematic makeovers on some of their most popular sneaker styles. Nike and the Air Force 1 is no different with the brand bringing a wolf-inspired finish to the "presidential" design.
Akin to the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 5 "Halloween" landing before Oct. 31, the newly-surfaced Air Force 1 "Wolf" takes a familiar design and breathes new life into it through direct and indirect nods to the year's spookiest day. A "Black/University Red/Metallic Silver/Black" color palette keeps things tame on paper, but even a quick glance at the AF-1—currently visible in only Kids' sizing—reveals a wild look.
The tumbled leather construction that appears across the upper indulges in a predominantly dark-colored finish. Mid-foot panels, however, feature fang-like detailing worthy of the "Wolf" nickname. Furthermore, vibrant red leering eyes are embroidered onto the lateral heels, bringing a frightening element to the festive sneaker.
Lastly, "Nike" text on the tongue label consists of a ghoulish outline, while the insoles see a werewolf-like bite that plays with the traditional design of a basketball.
The newly-surfaced Kids' Halloween-ready Air Force 1 should release via Nike.com and a select number of global retailers by before Oct. 31; sizing for Big Kids, Toddlers should surfacer soon, too.
