Another Nike Blazer Mid Appears With Alternate Colored Checks

The sheer volume of Blazerreleases over the past few years has made it crystal clear that the silhouette is a major contributor to Nike’s lifestyle division’s bottom line. And, although we’ve recently seen colored Swoosh selections dissipate in favor of more experimental options — like the recently-revealed Jumbo editions — it does appear that the brand is going back to basics with the return of classically blocked options on the way. Here, it’s a ladies-exclusive scheme that pairs a staple white leather/grey suede construction with aged-look soles and tongues against solid-color Swooshes. Here, though, the Checks come in alternate hues of black and olive green on the medial and lateral sides respectively. Branding at the tongue is finished with heritage red Checks, while Nike lettering in the back completes the release in black.
