The atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light Just Restocked!
OG Post 04.02.19 // Nike has tapped collaboration kings atmos for yet another Air Max partnership, but this time it arrives on a lesser known silhouette.
The Japanese retailer has been responsible for a handful of the Air Max series’ biggest collaborations, including the Air Max “Animal Pack,” the Air Max 1 Safari and the grail-status elephant print Air Max 1. So when news breaks of an atmos x Air Max creation, ears perk up, and people pay attention. And it’s hard not to be drawn into their next offering, with their take on the Air Max2 Light donning an array of vibrant colors and materials on a mismatched aesthetic. Visible beneath the clear plastic all-encasing overlay, vibrant patchwork prints are pieced together, with each tile boasting vintage Nike and Air Max logos from over the years. While both the left and right foot have their own unique look, there are a handful of similarities across both pairs; black toe caps and lining, matching midsoles and outsoles, and crimson laces and Swooshes keep the pairs grounded with balance.
Originally set to drop in March, an official release date has just been confirmed by Nike, with pairs slated to hit Nike SNKRS on April 5th, retailing at $160.
