BLACKPINK's Lisa Announces Nike Deal Wearing the Air Max 95 "Pink Foam"

Lalisa Manobal—known across the globe as simply Lisa—is the newest member of the Nike, Inc. family.

Having previously shared an adidas brand ambassador deal with the rest of South Korea's BLACKPINK group, the 28-year-old joins a growing list of cultural forces invited to represent the Swoosh as the North American brand looks to regain market share.

When asked about what excites her about partnering with Nike, Lisa replied: "I share Nike’s obsession with excellence, for craft and versatility." Additionally, the Thai multi-hyphenate "want[s] to encourage women everywhere to embrace self-expression and be confident in who they are and through what they wear."

On the subject of "wearing," Lisa announced her Nike deal while wearing the Air Max 95—specifically in a "Pink Foam" style previously endorsed by Kim Kardashian of NikeSKIMS. The pair is expected to re-launch during March as part of the fictional Air Max Month, but sizes are currently available on after-market platforms StockX and KICKS CREW.

As with other members of BLACKPINK with individual endorsement deals, Lisa is expected to wear Nike-branded items on-and-off-stage, and is likely to star in region-specific marketing campaigns for the brand.
