Where to Buy the CLOT x sacai x Nike LDV Waffle “Cool Grey”

sacai’s Chitose Abe has been busy networking with some of the biggest names in art and fashion, roping a handful of them into cross-collaborations with Nike. Already coming your way in 2021 are sacai collabs with KAWS, Fragment Design, and Jean-Paul Gaultier — and now Edison Chen’s CLOT. The two will be linking up for a second installment of the CLOT x sacai x Nike LDV Waffle “Cool Grey”, this one is said to be inspired by Chen’s “Kiss of Death 2” Air Max 1 colorway from 2013.

Both the Chinese and Japanese fashion houses bring their respective flair to the stacked silhouette, pairing CLOT’s retrospective hues against sacai’s double-stacked, heavily-layered tooling. Uppers of netted nylons arriving in light grey, with tonal glazed overlays at the toe, heel, and Swooshes — the latter finished in 3M reflective. There’s pops of green and gum to add some life to the otherwise cool palette and is edged slightly further in that direction via orange branding hits at the tongue. The pair is capped with two leather heel overlays, and midsoles split between navy and white — the latter again finished with 3M reflective detailing.

It has been confirmed that the CLOT x sacai x Nike LDV Waffle “Cool Grey” colorway will release on October 7th via Juice Store and sacaiTHEstore. SNKRS and retailers on October 9th.
