Green’d out.
Thanks to some smart seeding by Nike, the SB Dunk is back — not that I thought it ever really left. Either way you look at it, it lives on for the next gen of sneakerheads. You can pin the sneaker’s resurgence down to Travis Scott and Kyrie Irving, along with a handful of collaborative retailers doing their best with the silhouette over the past 12 months. One of those is SB Dunk stalwart Concepts, who’s best known for their locally-inspired “Lobster” series of colorways.
Now Deon Point of the Boston-based retailer has taken to the ‘gram to preview alternate colorways of the recently released “Green Lobster”, which was joined by the equally sought-after Purple rendition late last year. Each sporting a familiar lobster bib insole and speckled uppers to resemble the crustacean’s imperfect shells, While we’re not sure if either pair will ever release — or if they will remain a sample — we do know that the Dunk hype is alive and well.
Enjoy the looks below, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any further developments.
