The Doernbecher Nike Air More Uptempo looks very familiar.
To no one’s surprise, the Nike Air More Uptempo makes it’s first appearance in the annual Nike Doernbecher Freestyle collection after an extremely solid year of both retro and new releases.
But if you look closely, you’ll notice it resembles a classic DB from years past – and our personal favorite – the DB 8, designed by Caden Lampert back in 2014.
This year’s Uptempo designed by 11 year old Brody Miller includes his initials “BPM” replacing the traditional “AIR” text on the sides, but for the most part, draws off the Jordan 8 from three years ago. It keeps the same colorscheme of Blue with hits of Yellow, Red and Orange and matches it all the way down to the “BRAVE” insole that was found on the ankle of the Air Jordan 8.
