Slated for a Holiday 2025 release, the upcoming Eric Koston x Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 “Obsidian” marks another collaborative step between SB and core Nike icons. It follows a growing trend of reimagining classic Nike footwear through a skateboarding lens—a path recently carved out with Jordan retros and soon, the Air Force 1.

Though full release details have yet to surface, a first look at the pair reveals an Obsidian-dominant upper complemented by Speed Yellow detailing and shaggy suede overlays, along with a co-branded “Koston” tongue tag. The collaboration leans into both performance and heritage, using the technical layering of the Air Max 95 and adapting it with SB sensibilities.
