Josep "Pep" Guardiola's Manchester City has a lot to prove in the next English Premier League campaign. Although much attention will be paid to the club's summer signings, Erling Haaland is also expected to put up numbers in the next campaign. If history is indicative of anything, it's that the striker will not disappoint, and he'll do so while wearing special editions of the Nike Phantom 6 Low Elite FG.
Earlier in the year, the Norwegian footballer launched a limited version of the Phantom GX II that signaled Nike Football's confidence in him. Dubbed "There Will Be Goals," the pair featured a "Blue Void/Chrome" color scheme across its performance-informed build. Haaland's next special pair of boots also includes the navy-reminiscent tone, but accompanies it with vibrant "Laser Orange" and "Lemon Venom." The result is an eye-catching presentation that sees much of the upper's Gripknit material indulge in a vibrant golden tone.
Elsewhere, the sock-like collar and reverse swoosh-donning hind-foot enjoy bold accents that complement Haaland's goal-scoring output. The improved Cyclone 360 plate underfoot keeps things tonal in "Blue Void."
Stay tuned for firm Nike.com release details and official photos of Haaland's Phantom 6 Low Elite FG project. Pairs are expected to launch across select retailers on Monday, Aug. 18, for around $290.
