Nike's neuroscience-informed Mind 001 Mule has taken over social media thanks to its curious design and performance proposal. Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design recently join in the conversation, showcasing his take on the all-new slip-on silhouette.
As with other work the legendary Japanese creative has unveiled via social media, the fragment-backed Nike Mind 001 will release to the public. Fans of the Far East Asian imprint will rejoice at the idea of owning the future-forward design in a black-and-blue color palette complete with Fujiwara's bolt logo and Fragment messaging throughout. Underfoot, 22 different nodes line each mule, but the top-half sees some modifications.
Instead of its dimpled textile panel at the center of the design (where tongue and laces typically go on traditional sneakers), fragment's take on the Mind 001 sees a reinforced textile build that dons a shimmering bolt logo at the vamp. Additionally, a "license plate" has been added to the mule, ensuring people know the pair is a collaboration by Fujiwara.
Enjoy official photos of the linkup ahead of the March 19 Nike.com launch. The pair will also be available early exclusively via Fragment's retail stores on March 14, alongside the collaborative fragment x Nike Mind 002s.
