Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design has taken a liking to the Nike Mind series of footwear. Recently, he took to social media to tease his take on the Mind 002 silhouette.
Fresh off teaser shots of a fragment Mind 001, the neuroscience-informed design has gotten the Fujiwara-treatment. The partly-knit shoe is done in a brown-and-black color scheme. Midsoles are stamped with fragment concept testing messaging, expanding the long-standing partnership between the Japanese imprint and Swoosh. Shortly after, a "Particle Grey" style surfaced, promising another option for diehard fans of the Mind 002 and/or fragment design.
Underfoot, 22 different nodes appear on each shoe, providing the same type of recovery experience granted to Olympians at Milano Cortina.
Both Black and Grey pairs are set to launch via Nike.com on March 19. Pairs will be availalable ahead via Fragment retail stores. Each pair retails for $140.
The fragment design x Nike Mind 001 mules will also be releasing soon.
