Sheeeesh! 🤯
My lord, there has been some rare heat floating around the net as of late. In fact, just a few days ago we saw Conceited unbox the ultra-rare “March Madness” OVO Air Jordan 8, but that was trumped in a matter of days.
Surfacing on GOAT yesterday was something so rare, we didn’t even know it existed until yesterday — and it had been around for eight years! Said to have been produced in very limited numbers in Holiday of 2011, these Gold “Watch the Throne” Nike LeBron 9 Samples popped up at the perfect time, thanks to the topical Nike LeBron 16 “Watch the Throne” releasing this weekend.
Strangely, this sample pair better reflects Riccardo Tisci’s album art even better than LeBron’s actual pair, which has left us confused as to why these were kept under wraps for so long. Nike often plays the long game — but 8 years?!
So before you try to cop this weekend’s release, take a detailed look at the OG sample pair below 😍
