Ja Morant to Join Nike Air Force 1 "NY vs. NY" Series Fall 2025

Ja Morant might've exited the 2024-25 NBA Playoffs earlier than he would've liked, but the Memphis Grizzlies guard has been using the off-season to cook up with his Nike Basketball family.

According to Romania's Sneaker Market, the South Carolina native will receive his own version of the iconic Air Force 1 Low "NY vs. NY" project. For the uninformed, "NY vs. NY" is an annual streetball tournament organized by Nike. It showcases top high school talent from across New York City.

In Summer 2024, Morant's Ja 1 released in a vibrant color scheme as part of a wider "NY vs. NY" collection. By comparison, his Air Force 1 collab is expected to feature a predominantly "Black" makeover across its iconic design. Hits of "Cobalt Blue" are believed to animate branding elements throughout the shoe, with a light gum brown outsole rounding out the package. The NBA player's JA emblem is expected on the lateral heel.
