This New Leather-Built Air Max 90 Appears in White, Black and Blue

With the impending autumnal season approaching, Nike will look to subtly retool their Air Max classic to prolong the period in which they can be worn. From GORE-TEX overhauls to options like this new leather-built release, one can enjoy the fruits of Tinker’s labor for a few more weeks of the calendar year.

Here, the pair opts for a white leather construct, removing all mesh from the equation. this in turn leads to dryer wear in wet weather. Its accompanying overlays, mudguards, and Swooshes all apply a similar finish, though opt for hues of grey and royal blue that tie into the supporting features. The Air cassettes and supports follow in black and blue respectively, with white midsoles and black rubber outsole rounding out the design.

A release date for this all-new Air Max 90 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com in the coming weeks in kids sizing — and hopefully for adults, too.
