Kevin Durant is having a positive regular season despite his Houston Rockets squad currently sitting at fourth in the NBA's Western Conference. The offensive machine continues to dominate hardwoods this many years into his career, and he's been doing so in the Nike KD 18.
His latest silhouette by Nike Basketball has emerged in handfuls of different styles since its debut in February 2025. Many ensembles have referenced some of Durant's favorite footwear styles from the expansive Swoosh archive. For the KD 18's latest makeover, the Washington, D.C.-native has teamed up with Ronnie Fieg's Kith for a project that turns the original Air Max 95 into a basketball shoe.
As with Fieg's own work on the AM95, the newly-surfaced Nike KD sees premium suede panels across the upper, debossed with Kith wordmarks. The greyscale medley is met with eye-catching, near-fluorescent hits of neon along the tongue and in the form of lateral swooshes. Elsewhere, the silhouette maintains its performance-first elements.
Enjoy an in-hand video of the co-branded KD ahead (Slide 5). A Nike.com launch for the pair is not expected, as per photos shared by Ronnie Fieg, the pair is for "Friends and Family of KD and RF" (Pictured Below).
