With the Nike Kobe 5 “Lower Merion” confirmed for Spring 2026, it’s no surprise that the tribute continues to spill over into Nike’s expanding Kobe Air Force 1 lineup. Two new AF-1s have been confirmed to arrive in White/Team Red and Team Red/White, colors that celebrate Bryant’s high school legacy in Pennsylvania.
Though not officially confirmed by Nike, both pairs feature a familiar maroon hue synonymous with Lower Merion High School, where Kobe starred before entering the NBA. The all-white pair sports Team Red accents on the Swoosh, heel panel, outsole, and tongue, while the inverse Team Red-based option flips the scheme with white contrast branding throughout. Though speculative regarding exact materials and blocking, the design is expected to be consistent with past Kobe AF-1 releases, including snakeskin textures, tonal embroidery of Kobe’s sheath logo, and premium leather finishes.
Given the timing of the Kobe 5 Protro “Lower Merion” release and Nike’s ongoing rollout of tribute footwear for the late legend, it’s reasonable to expect these Air Force 1s to launch as part of a broader pack. However, no release details have been confirmed at this stage.

In other Kobe Air Force 1 news, a Triple Black colorway is alos expected to arrive in the coming months.
