Nike and Kyrie continue to delve into into Nike SB archives for inspiration, with this Halloween-friendly “Day of the Dead” Nike Kyrie 4.
This pair, like the “Green Lobster” Kyrie 4dropped by Concepts back in August, is a carbon copy of the 2006 Nike SB Dunk Low of the same name (pictured below).
True to the celebration of Dia de Muertos, it arrives in a vibrant mix of colors; orange, purple, yellow and green, along with pitch black, which represents death itself. The skeleton patterns are also a direct reference to the Mexican holiday, often seen on October 31st celebrations.
The Nike Kyrie 4 “Day of the Dead” to release the day before it’s namesake, October 30th at select overseas retailers, with a stateside release is rumored for November 1st on Nike.com.
