Oh who doesn’t love the “Court Purple” trend this year?
We sure as hell do — we’ve even dedicated 5 or 6 Concepts to the color over the last few months. And with King James heading West this year to the Lakers, we can only expect more and more purple kicks to begin surfacing. Like this pair.
For his Lakers debut at the Staples Center, King James along with Foot Locker launched ‘The Hunt,’ an app-based interactive scavenger search that landed a few lucky fans a pair of the limited edition “Court Purple” Nike LeBron 16 King.
The shoe is a Lakers take on the previously released “King” LeBron 16, his opening night kicks from their game 1 loss to Portland.
The release was limited to Los Angeles and Nike hasn’t announced wider availability. Goddamnit.
