The ever-present Air Force 1 is enjoying the benefits of an impending Spring season with plentiful options set to arrive soon. The next of which joins other lightning-Swooshed makes as part of an impending Heavy Metal-inspired collection.
Arriving with the same overarching theme seen on the pack’s Air Max 90, Air Max Plus, and Blazer Low, the pair presents in a theme closely aligned to the latter. It too sports an open mesh tongue and heavily tumbled leather uppers in the seasonal staple white, while jagged Swoosh overlays assume the same teal nylon finish. The pair also shares identical dark grey finishes to the tongue and heel. Differing from the Blazer, the Air Force 1 tacks on a mini Swoosh at the forefoot and keeps an unadulterated sole unit underfoot to complete the design.
Update 05.22.21 A European release for the Lightning Swoosh Air Force 1 Low has been confirmed for May 24th, with retailers like size? and Overkill listing up pairs via their respective channels. A release for the US has not been confirmed, but if you can’t wait it out, there’s plenty of pairs already available on the aftermarket sites listed below.
