The cult-followed Air Max Plus has continued to find new and unique ways to dress over the years, from vibrant gradients to designed prints, to big, bold overbranded drops. The next pair to appear checks all of those boxes and more, with this double Swoosh Air Max Plus the next to join Nike’s “Would Tour” collection.
In stark contrast to the collection’s simply-blocked, lighting-Swooshed Nike Blazer Low, the TN tacks on monochrome pixel-patterned uppers, gradient-sprayed veins, and dual Checks for an aesthetic that’s busier than downtown Tokyo. The latter is layered in both muted volt and teal, the former in the same heavy metal-influenced design as seen on the aforementioned Blazer Low, while the classic mini Swoosh sits atop in a calming blue-green hue. More teal hit the midfoot shank, while volt returns to the Air support beneath, and the pair is completed by a tour-style taping down the tongue, special 20/21 printed aglets, and lightning bolt Swooshed insoles.
An official release date for the pair is still unknown, but this Double-Swooshed Nike Air Max Plus is likely to sneak into select retailers and Nike.com over the coming weeks. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
