Sean McDowell’s Air Max Plus remains at the height of popularity throughout Europe and Australia, with Nike’s continued effort on the retro runner bolstering its stocks for the new year. One of the first new colorway to appear in 2023 is this clean White/University Blue arrangement — a perfect fit for the impending Spring season.

The mostly-white release leans on a few instances of contrast, with strikes of Uni Blue worked into a few key areas. A first glance will show the bright blue hue on the gradient cage overlays, midfoot shanks, and mesh tongue, but it also appears hidden on the Air supports stowed within the midsole. Blacks are bold and sparingly used, applied to just the liners and outsoles, while a solitary pop of bright yellow at the midfoot rounds out the design.

An official release date for this new Air Max Plus “White/University Blue” is unknown, but you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months.
