During Paris Fashion Week back in 2021, Louis Vuitton revealed a colossal collection of collaborative Nike Air Force 1s, from bootleg-inspired colorways to pairs inspired by the late Virgil Abloh’s work with OFF-WHITE. With the silhouette’s 40th anniversary mere months after the fact, there was plenty of speculation as to which pairs we’d see get released. F&F make-ups were then shared back in February of this year ahead of the monogram colorway’s limited 200-piece drop through Sotheby’s. Now, just three months after, we get a first glimpse of which colorways will be the brand’s retail releases.
Expect to see a slew of lows, and a handful of Mids, the latter two reserved for a simple “Triple White” render and a graffiti-geared LV checkerboard creation. The Lows are, for the most part, fairly simple propositions, all of which feature complete coverage of debossed LV monograms and motifs. There’s a trio of two-tone releases in white/royal, white/red, and white/green, as well as classic triple white and black suede. There are two audacious efforts, too, one wrapped in all-metallic gold and brown, the other in a mix of black, metallic silver, purple, yellow, and green.
