Just as consistently delivered as the Blazer itself, Nike’s penchant for themed packs never let up. Following on from the epic 15+ pair “Flora Pack” comes something a little closer to home, with a series of mismatched and/or blinged-out classics that feature the history of the Swoosh and its initial trademarking. This Nike Blazer Low “First Use” is the next in that series, and the second colorway for the silhouette to join the pack.
Here, the pair opts for mismatched blocking with toes and lateral panels of jet black met on the medial side be smooth bone leathers. Lateral Swooshes are mismated, too, with peel-away Checks in Concord and red on the left and right shoe respectively. Medial Checks arrive in a stark white, while mismatch contrast stitching throughout draws from the aforementioned Check colors. Completing the design is the collection’s Swoosh timeline insoles, vintage cursive Nike branding in the rear, and a metallic gold lacelet set with a singular faux diamond.
