Boston Celtics Get Celebrated in Nike’s NBA Air Force 1 Collection

The NBA season is tipping off next month, and I’m excited as hell. How could you not be? The battle of LA, Zion’s debut and a whole lot more awesome shit is about to unfold — it’s going to be the biggest and best season yet (and if you don’t have League Pass yet, I suggest you get it here. NOW.). Not surprisingly, Nike — the league’s official outfitters — is getting a little excited about it, too. And right on cue, the Swoosh brand is delivering a handful of satin-capped Forces for the occasion. We’ve already seen the Lakers and Pistons-inspired pairs, and now Nike is heading up north to the parquet floors of the TD Garden for this “Boston Celtics” NBA x Air Force 1 High.

The pair utilizes a classic white base and swaps out the high heel panels, tongues and straps for the franchise’s iconic green. Special co-branded ribbon flows over the tongue and cascades down the heel, while a split-Swoosh on the profile highlights Boston’s often-used gold trim. With the NBA preseason kicking off next Thursday, you can expect these Celtics Air Force 1 Highs to arrive at select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com over the coming weeks.
