Nike’s 75th Anniversary Celebration with Nike has birthed some bangers, including Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and New York Knicks Dunks. Now, the franchise from Madison Square Garden returns once more, this time laying its team colors across Nike’s original basketball sneaker.
This, the second NBA x Nike Blazer to appear, keeps the same blocking as its predecessor, once again relying upon an upper constructed of split-blocked leather. Lateral sides are dressed in tumbled white leather, while medial panels prefer a smooth finish in vivid orange. That side also swaps its eyestay overlays for Blue Void — a finish also seen on the toe box. Swooshes alternate from white to orange, depending on the side, with tongues and heel panels presenting in blue, and forefoot overlays in white. Underfoot, the pair is struck with a bold blue tread, and the pair is completed with a handful of official NBA designs, including the revamped 75th Anniversary logo on the lateral ankle, special branded tongue tags, and diamond anniversary dubraes.
Grab a complete look for yourself below, and stay tuned for more updates, as it’s likely that we’ll see more team-themed pairs surface soon. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further details.
