Already having hit the market in a handful of color options, Nike’s new self-lacing Adapt Auto Max silhouette has already established itself as a fan favorite, despite it’s incredibly steep $400 price point. It’s Air Mag-like aesthetic has propelled it forwards, with the first two releases adopting the famed light grey finish. However, their newest option to surface heads to the other end of the spectrum, with a dark grey and black-based sneaker complimented by muted color pops providing a significantly different aesthetic than expected.
The blackened-finish hits everything up top, from dark grey uppers, and jet black tongues, toe caps, heel clips, and plastic Swoosh pieces. Midsoles arrive in black, too, with all-over scribble finish in teal green a consistent design element from releases past. That same shade of green also arrives on the gridded rubber outsole, heel-rise, and tongue branding. Capping off the design is a pair of vibrant yellow Swooshes on the lateral heel and outsole respectively.
