Nike Adapt Auto Max “Infrared” Arrives May 20

Nike’s success was built on the back of innovation. To this day, experimenting and challenging old ways is their mantra. Now, after first debuting back in March, the silhouette returns in an Air Max 90 “Infrared”-homaged colorway.

Most noticeably, the enormous midsole stows the two techs, with a midfoot motor controlled by both the Nike Adapt app and manual adjustment buttons, and enlarged, visible Air Max units in the rear. Power laces that allow you to set and save the perfect fit and look, including 13 tailored lighting options. Further taking the pair int the future is the ability to adjust the shoe and its lighting using only your voice, with the help of Siri Shortcuts and Google Assistant. It’s out-of-this-world aesthetic, chunky pops of color and similarity to the famed Air Mag has made this $400 sneaker an immediate fan favorite.
