Nike fans are in for a delightful treat come Spring 2024, and the brand is preparing to dust off its vaults and bring back the famed Air 180 in its original "Ultramarine" colorway.
As reported by Complex, the OG re-release is slated for May 2024 at select Nike neighborhood retail stores at a price point of $140.
The Nike Air 180 first emerged on the sneaker scene in 1991, under the creative brilliance of Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgore, the minds behind the first Air Max and the Air Force 1, respectively.
Notably, the Nike Air 180 carries a rich legacy, including iconic collaborations with Nom De Guerre and Comme des Garçons, and a memorable association with basketball legend Michael Jordan; Jordan famously wore a pair in the "Concord" colorway during a photo shoot with the 1992 Barcelona Olympics Dream Team.
While the Air 180 "Ultramarine" has seen several resurgences since its debut, the last sighting of the colorway was back in 2018 (pictured below under the official images for the 2024 pair).
Expect to learn more about the pair's retrospective run in 2024 as we edge closer to it's release on May 24, 2024. Enjoy official Nike imagery of the pair below.
