Available Now // Nike Air Flight 89 “Chicago” Celebrates All-Star Weekend in the Windy City
All-Star Weekend is fast approaching, so you can expect to see a whirlwind of Windy City-themed sneakers flooding your feeds. We’ve already grabbed first looks at both the Air Jordan 3 “Red Cement,” and “Reverse Bred” Air Jordan 1, but this city-colored Air Flight 89 “Chicago” is the first to surface from the Swoosh.
It arrives in the instantly recognizable colors of the Chi-city flag — complete with four red stars at the heel. The all-blue leather upper is hit with bold red accents at the tongue and lacestays, with white liners, laces, and midsoles providing a bolder stroke of contrast. Underfoot you’ll find a fully-red rubber outsole — save the light blue Nike motif — and the pair is complete with star-spangled insoles, and the city’s 60612 zip code — a direct reference to the area that houses the Bulls’ United Center.
Take in an official look at the Nike Air Flight 89 “Chicago” below, and look for these to release in and around All-Star Weekend 2020, which is set to kick-off on February 14th.
