Nike Air Flightposite QS "Dusty Cactus" Releases June 26

Originally introduced as a futuristic performance model in the late ‘90s, the Nike Air Flightposite continues its quiet yet consistent resurgence with a new “Dusty Cactus” colorway arriving this month. Releasing on June 26 for $240, the Quickstrike drop taps into the silhouette’s heritage with one of its most iconic color palettes.

The pair revives the signature iridescent Foamposite shell in a bold Dusty Cactus hue, transitioning from bright teal to rich purple under varying light. Complementing the sleek, sculptural upper is a matte black zip-up shroud, matching neoprene collar, and embroidered white Swooshes for contrast. Underfoot, a carbon fiber midfoot plate and Zoom Air cushioning complete the classic setup. Branding on the tongue’s pull tab and heel tabs reinforce the Flightposite lineage.

Though not as widely embraced as the Foamposite One, the Flightposite remains a cult classic among 2000s basketball footwear fans—and Nike’s recent retro efforts signal a renewed push for the model heading into its 25th anniversary in 2025.
