Nike Air Foamposite One “Deep Royal” Set to Release Fall 2025

A mainstay of Nike Basketball’s late-90s innovation, the Air Foamposite One has seen a quiet but steady resurgence in recent seasons. Now, for Fall 2025, Nike will revisit one of its standout colorways with the return of the Air Foamposite One “Deep Royal.”

Originally released in 2016, the “Deep Royal” edition quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its clean, tonal aesthetic and vibrant shell finish. The 2025 reissue is expected to remain faithful to the original, featuring a glossy royal blue Foamposite shell offset by black nubuck eyestays, mesh tongues, and inner bootie construction. Minimal white accents hit the Swoosh and tongue pull tab, while an icy translucent outsole rounds out the look with a familiar finish.

This release joins a string of recent Foamposite reissues—including the “Anthracite” and “Eggplant”—proving that the silhouette’s cult following still carries weight. Though demand for Foamposites may not match its peak era, carefully selected retro colorways like this one continue to generate strong interest among longtime fans and collectors alike.

The Nike Air Foamposite One “Deep Royal” is slated to release in Fall 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Pricing is expected at $240 USD.
