The Nike Foamposite has always had a knack for sticking around. While the lineage has seen its popularity rise and fall over the years, it’s never truly disappeared—buoyed by a loyal cult following and the occasional injection of new energy. With recent nods to its legacy through the return of the Galaxy Foamposite and reimagined classics like the "Psychic Blue" and "Black/Volt," Nike is continuing that momentum into 2026.

Up next: the long-awaited return of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “University Blue,” a clean and simple classic that debuted in 2003.

The pair stays true to the original formula, featuring a smooth baby blue Foamposite shell wrapped in crisp white trim. A white jewel Swoosh sits proudly on the profile panel, matched by white outsole support, inner lining, and pull tabs. Pops of navy blue hit the remaining brand markings. The minimalist approach lets the color do the talking, making it one of the more versatile and clean Foamposite releases from the early 2000s.

According to zSneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the “University Blue” Foamposite Pro will return in early 2026. While official images and a firm release date are still to come, this retro is already shaping into one of the year’s marquee Foamposite drops.

And this isn't the only classic Foam Pro set for a retro, with the legendary "Pearl" colroway penciled in for 2025.
