The “3M Mini Swoosh” Nike Foamposite One Releases Dec. 19th
Nike’s penchant for proudly displaying their Swoosh has taken on bold new forms in the recent past. From overbranding to oversized, Nike has draped some of its most revered silhouettes with the iconic symbol in a myriad of methods. The next to join that roster is nothing new — an infinite all-over Swoosh print — but it does arrive on a sneaker that’s known for it’s minimalist approach to branding, the singular-Swooshed Nike Air Foamposite One.
Whilst bearing a base that’s strikingly familiar to 2012’s “Stealth” release, this pair opts for slight tweaks to the traditional forefoot mini Swoosh and heel One Cent logos, which now arrive in crisp whites, and the outsole, which now dons a glittery translucent-blue. The Foamposite shell, nubuck lacestay panels, mesh tongues, heel pulls and carbon fiber shanks all arrive as per the aforementioned release, with the former now sporting an all-over Mini Swoosh pattern in a style that’s similar to the famed Oregon Ducks Foamposite One — come to think of it, the glittery blue sole on this is similar to the Ducks PE, too ± although this print arrives in a full 3M reflective finish.
Official images for the release have surfaced, but at this stage, release information is a little hazy. We’re expecting more news to follow over the coming weeks, so while you wait more info take a peep at the detailed looks below and be sure to keep your eyes locked on HOUSE OF HEAT for updates.
