Another Nike Air Force 1 “82” Appears in Tan and Gold

Nike is doing the most with the Air Force 1 for its 40th anniversary, from collaborations with Drake and Louis Vuitton to toothbrush-wielding Anniversary releases. The silhouette’s mainline release schedule is delivering quality, too, like this upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “82” that tacks on two midfoot Checks in leather and suede.

Anchored in a lightly-tumbled sail leather, the pair works into warm tan overlays and nylon tongues. It’s “82” title — a reference to the year the model was introduced — rests at the tongue in a trippy, stylized font, with the heel “NIKE” insignia also sporting a new finish. Dual University Gold and black Swooshes sit at the midfoot in leather and suede respectively, with Pinwheel-branded insoles, recycled fiber tongue liners, and simple white sole units rounding out the design.

While an official release date for this double-Swooshed Nike Air Force 1 Low “82” has yet to be revealed, the surfacing of product imagery would suggest that a release is on the way.
