Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Pony Hair” Adds Texture to a Classic
Nike’s latest Air Force 1 Low release leans into luxury with the introduction of a full “Black Pony Hair” upper. This upcoming Fall 2025 edition strips away the usual smooth leather look in favor of tactile materials and a tonal palette, offering a striking update to the iconic silhouette.
The upper is entirely covered in black pony hair, providing depth and a unique feel to the otherwise familiar shape. Matte black branding keeps the look unified, while tonal laces and a black sole unit continue the monochrome styling. The Swoosh, heel tab, and midsole all blend seamlessly into the design, allowing the texture of the materials to do the talking.
Despite its departure from traditional leather builds, the “Black Pony Hair” pair retains all the hallmarks of the AF1—perforated toe box, classic cupsole construction, and Air cushioning underfoot. It’s a bold yet refined take on one of Nike’s most enduring models.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Pony Hair” is expected to drop on Nike.com by Fall 2025 for $135.
