UPDATE 03.31.2026 NIKE, Inc. officially announced the "Light Orewood Brown" Air Force 1 by Nike SB today, March 31. The shoe is scheduled to debut via select skate shops on Friday, April 17, before a wider SNKRS launch on Tuesday, April 21.

As shared in a Nike News breakdown of the project, the SB Air Force 1 has been modified for the board. A specialized fit has been brought to the silhouette, as has a Nike Air unit in the heel for impact protection; reduced midsole height for increased board feel; and an updated AF-1 tread pattern for enhanced grip and flexibility.

Additional colorways will release by the end of the 2026.

ORIGINAL STORY Nike SB and the Air Force 1 are set to collide in 2026, marking the first official crossover between the two lines. The collaboration is expected to deliver a skate-ready take on the classic basketball and lifestyle model—one that could follow Nike SB’s successful reworks of the Air Jordan 4 and Janoski.

The pair first drew attention when Eric Koston was spotted skating in a triple black wear-test sample back in April, hinting at Nike SB’s hands-on role in developing the silhouette. New leaks from House of Heat° confirm that one of the upcoming retail colorways will feature a mix of “Light Orewood Brown” and “Pink Foam.”

As with past SB-linked releases, we expect performance modifications to support skate use, possibly including a reinforced insole or updated traction.

The Nike SB x Air Force 1 Low “Light Orewood Brown/Pink Foam” is currently expected to release on April 17, 2026. Until then, enjoy official images of the 2026 release below.
