Nike Air Force 1 Low “Be Kind” is Coming Soon

Experimentation and the Air Force 1 go hand in hand. The stalwart staple sneaker from the Swoosh has been the subject of many tinkers over the years, from its initial low-cut alteration to the bevy of retooled and redesigned options of today. While its materials mixes are getting seemingly more adventurous, and its blocking typically remained constrained within Bruce Kilgore’s original lines. This next-up pair, the Nike Air Force 1 “Be Kind”, experiments with some unique split blocking, in turn, resulting in a new aesthetic for the 40-year-old silhouette.

Void of any serious color, the pair arrives in a tonal mix of cool and neutral greys against light blue-greens in leather and suede. Each panel is prepared in its own unique finish and, when combined with the split-blocking at the forefoot and mid-panel, results in a curious collage of material. Suede toes work back into leather and suede eyelets pieced into three sections, with its encompassing toe cap also split into blue and grey hues. Midpanels follow the same mantra, as do the quarters. Bright white Swooshes marry up to the sole units underfoot, with special leather branded tags in the back continue on from the heel overlays and tongue tags in tumbled blue-green leathers to complete the design.
