Nike Air Force 1 Low Experimental Appears in Phoenix Suns Colors

The all-new aptly titled Air Force 1 Low Experimental has now produced a handful of colorways, each of which houses is unique one-piece foam shell upper under a plethora of translucent vacuum-sealed casing. This next release is no exception, and it brings with it a colorway associated with the Steve Nash and Shaq-era Phoenix Suns.

Yes, we’re talking about those horrible orange, grey and purple jerseys. But while they may have looked like pajamas, Nike has got the color balance on these Air Force 1s right. With the Suns’ jerseys going heavy-handed on orange, this release provides a significant amount of grey to let the small flashes of accompanying orange (liner, tongue, laces, and pulls) and purple (outsole and lace locks) pop, but not overwhelm. Elsewhere, you can expect much of the same from the silhouette, including the Air Force 1-branded sheath, Nike’s freshness seal in the rear, and technical-inspired insole detail within.

A release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low Experimental “Phoenix Suns” has not yet been announced, but with the bubble gum-like “Arctic Punch”arriving on February 6th, you can expect a rollout of these and other colorways soon after. Until then, check out the first look at the pair here below, and be sure to give us a follow on Twitter for any further updates.
