Nike’s Air Force 1 has always held strong in delivering an abundance of colorways, often experimenting with a plethora of textiles to keep the classic silhouette consistently fresh. It’s also been prevalent in Nike’s overarching “Move to Zero” sustainability project, the latest having appeared as part of an upcoming “Recycled Wool” pack due to kick off its releases in January. But the sustainable efforts for the new year aren’t all flooded with fleece and neons, with these two new Air Force 1 Lows for the kids forgoing its traditional sole units for one that’s fully comprised of Nike’s recycled grind rubber.
Both black and white options arrive equipped with the recycled units underfoot, both of which are tacked on through atypical black stitching. Other alterations include the Swoosh’s recycled yarn at the tongue and heel, and Swoosh overlays replaced by outlined embroidery. Elsewhere you can expect the same elements found on your stock-standard AF1 drop, including smooth leather construction, mesh liners, and brushed silver dubraes.

In related news, an adult-sized Camo-clad Air Force 1 also appeared this week as part of Nike’s sustainable efforts.
