This New Next Nature Nike AF-1 Applies a Canvas Construction
Nike continues to pave the way for eco-friendly footwear with its latest addition to the Next Nature collection - a unique take on the iconic Air Force 1, now reimagined with sustainable materials and new branding elements, specifically in GS sizes.
This upcoming iteration of the Air Force 1 stands out with its canvas-constructed upper, a departure from traditional leather builds. The canvas material, chosen for its lower environmental impact, is presented in a crisp white tone, covering the overlays, unders, and the iconic Swoosh. This choice not only reinforces Nike's commitment to sustainability but also gives the sneaker a fresh, clean look perfect for the warmer months.
Contrasting the light upper, the midsole takes on a bold black finish. This element, crafted from recycled materials, adds a striking visual contrast and further underscores the shoe's eco-conscious design.
The branding on this Air Force 1 Next Nature edition takes a subtle yet impactful approach. The Nike Air branding on the tongue pops in a light shade of green, symbolizing the sneaker's connection to sustainability. In contrast, the heel tab branding opts for a more understated look, blending seamlessly with the shoe's overall palette.
Inside, the deep red insole is adorned with alternating logos - the Swoosh’s Circular Design insignia and a new sustainability-focused graphic. These logos not only add a splash of color but also serve as a reminder of Nike's ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental footprint.
