Available Now // New Air Force 1 Sends Messages of Peace and Positivity

Peace and harmony have often played big roles in Nike’s past releases, with several sneakers donning themes of unity over the years. Recently, we’ve seen the Nike Dunk Low “Rooted in Peace”,and last December saw an epic multi-pair “Peace Pack”which stemmed from the Air Raid 2, and included the VaporMax Plus, Air Max 1, and Air Force 1 Low. Now, a similar pair to the latter has presented itself, and although there’s no external symbolism, the color scheme and insole graphics provide enough information to make a peaceful connection.

Here, color accents of yellow, red, blue, and green are dispersed more obviously along the sole, liner, and Swoosh, but looking past the vibrant pops, you’ll find there’s much more to the sneaker than first anticipated. Uppers of suede work with Sashiko-like weave at the mid panel and tongue for an intriguing combo, while Swooshed features a strange textured finish. Midsoles are painted in a rare black finish, all of which sets a solid base for the aforementioned colors to truly pop. White laces work the hardest here, literally jumping off the sneaker in contrast terms. Finally, hand-holding insoles channel the peace and unity message that inspired the exterior design.
