Nike Air “Peace Pack” Releases December 1st
Back in 2014, Nike dropped a special two-piece “Peace Pack” inspired by Nike’s first-ever outdoor basketball sneaker. Inclusive of the Air Raid and an Air Force 1 Low, the designs drew inspiration from the campaign that catapulted the Swoosh to the forefront of hoops culture. Having revealed that the pack’s “Urban Jungle” Air Raid will be returning this year, it should come as no surprise that we’ll be getting an accompanying Air Force 1, too — though that’s not all we’ll be getting. Nike’s 2020 “Peace Pack” includes three pairs, an unadulterated version of the Nike Air Raid, and two new editions of the Air Force 1 and Air Max 1.
The latter two, both new designs in their own right, arrive in an aligned thematic, with black and whites balanced with colorful green, red, yellow and blue African-inspired prints and pace symbols. Exposed yellow zig-zag stitching and black suede panels pay a direct tribute to the 2014 Air Force 1, while the inner tags read “Live Together. Play Together.” remember 1992’s Air Raid 2 campaign slogan.
Though a release date for the pack has not yet been set, you would expect that these will release around World Peace Day on September 21st. Until that date is confirmed, take a look at both the Air Force 1 Low and Air Max 1 here below, and if you want to catch up on the pack’s Air Raid, you can check it out here.
