Contrast stitching returned to the Uptown this past Summer “Rucker Park” Air Force 1, a surprising sell-out that all but confirmed the market’s desire to see the finish make a fully-fledged comeback. Now, as it appears, that Nike has more in store for the aesthetic with this, the third of a suspected series of contrast-stitched Air Force 1s for Fall.
Following on from the previously-previewed Pine Green and Black stitched options is this pair popped with University Red that, aside from the NYC-themed bling, embroidery, and plush mesh tongues, arrives in pretty much the same form. Of course, where orange accents found on that release are now red, and its tumbled leather Checks reverts to a classic smooth finish.
Although a release date has not yet been announced, we are expecting pairs of these, and a few more color options of the contrast-stitched Air Force 1 Lows, to hit a slew of select retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks. So while you wait on more details grab an official look at the pair here below, and be sure to follow us on Twitter for further updates.
