Though the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1 is yet to be officially recognized with a celebratory release, the sheer amount of love shown to the silhouette has already shown us that 2022 will be a monster year for the silhouette. Now a new design joins the ranks, with this canvas-clad Air Force 1 Low “Structured” surfacing ahead of an expected release this Spring/Summer season.

Though Bruce Kilgore’s design lines remain mostly intact, Nike has chopped and changed a few panels, tacked on extra structured stitching, and delivered it all in a construction completion of the colorful canvas. Here, it’s a light beige upper, with overlays of light tan, and Swooshes of light jade — all of which are tacked on with yellow stitching — forming the bulk of the release. However, the eyestay overlays and rear of the toe box come chopped up, working through shades of green, tan, pink, and purple across the lateral, vamp, and medial sides. Lemon stitching is then reworked into the mid panel for a structured effect and returns again at the heel, tongue, and insole branding to complete the upper’s construction. Underfoot sits a simple Grind Rubber sole unit in white to cap off the design.

A release date for this new Air Force 1 “Structured” is yet to be revealed, but it is expected to release soon — so be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy an official look at the pair below.
