Nike Air Force 1 Low “Turtle” Now Arrives September 21st
As it appears, Nike will be paying tribute to a second near-extinct species on an Air Force 1, with yesterday’s “Milky Stork” iteration now joined by another: the Air Force 1 Low “Turtle”
No, not Turtle from Entrouage’s Air Force 1s, but a special-edition pair that channels the majestic reptilians in like form to the aforementioned waterbird release, with tumbled leather uppers, contrasting hues at the tongue and eyestay, dual-layered Checks, and lateral ankle embroidery. Here, though, the pair dons classic turtle tones, with Medium Olive making up most of the build. It’s met by darker olives over the vamp and softly-sueded flax at the Swooshes and heels. Completing the design is the shelled creature embroidered at the heel, and it all rests atop a solid sail sole unit.
A release date for this Air Force 1 Low “Turtle” is yet to be revealed, but retailers in Asia are citing a Summer release. As has been the case for Stateside drops this year, you can expect it to be weeks after the fact, so be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy a first look at the pair here below.
