Fans of the Air Force 1 are never short of footwear options for Fall and Winter, with the Swoosh delivering everything from Flax-clad creations to completely retooled works in conjunction with GORE-TEX. The new Air Force 1 Luxe is one of the brand’s newest designs to champion the treacherous seasons, but, as it appears, the silhouette is not all about the outdoors, with this second effort of the Nike Air Force 1 Luxe “Brogue” bringing traditional dress shoe design to the clunky winterized shoe.
Look closely and you’ll spot crimp-cut leathers of dark brown at the eyestay and heel, with classic gum rubber midsoles and dark brown outsoles also honoring heritage footwear design. There are decorative perforations at the toe, too, as well as fine rope shoe strings, and the aforementioned Brown Basalt leathers all mimicking classic wingtips.
